Positive-Negative Hearts

5th Grade_archive

The fifth grade students made these positive-negative heart designs. They began by drawing half of a heart along the edges of their red rectangle. They cut these out then flipped them over to line the straight edges up. The red half of the heart is the positive side, the pink half is the negative side. To add interest, they had the option of cutting further layers.
