Splatter Paint

5th Grade_archive

The fifth grade pulled inspiration from Jackson Pollock for these splatter paintings. We started by watching a brief video about Pollock’s “action painting” style. Then, using a color palate that was also inspired by the artist, we set to work creating our own paintings. Rather than turkey basters and acrylic enamel, we used watered down tempera paint and tooth brushes.
