Native American Pattern Practice

The 4k students made these Native American blankets by practicing their patterns.  Each student started with a lined piece of white paper glued to a larger piece of tan paper. Starting at the top, we drew “patterns made of circles, patterns made of squares, etc.” After the white papers were filled, they created the fringe by cutting slits into the tan paper.
