The kindergartners created these spiders as part of a unit they were doing in their classroom.  Their teachers were kind enough to assemble all of the pieces so that we could do the messy (and fun!) work of painting them, crinkling their legs, and adding their eyeballs. The final step was to add labels to identify all of the spiders’ parts: legs, eyes, pedipalps, cephalothorax, abdomen, and spinnerets. Science meets creativity.
