The first grade students created some out of this world art work for this project. They used crayons and paint to make planets, stars, moons, comets, etc. On a separate piece of paper, they drew either a rocket ship or alien spacecraft. After everything dried, we glued down their vessel and added tissue paper “flames” for extra pizzazz.
