Rainy Flowers

We have had a very rainy spring here in Austin. To make these grey days a little brighter, the 4k students splatter painted flowers. They each began by drawing a flower in crayon, then filling it in with tempera paint.  To make the rain, I mixed blue paint with water.  The students took turns dipping a toothbrush in the mixture and flicking the bristles to splatter it all over their paper.
