We started this class reading Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright. It is the story of a cold snowman who keeps melting trying to warm up in the cold winter weather. Our soupy snow is made from a mixture of glue and shaving cream. The mixture stays fluffy like whipped marshmallow even after drying. Once they applied their melted snow, they added foam charcoal eyes and smiles, top hats, yarn scarfs, carrot noses, buttons, and arms into the mixture to complete our melted friends.
