Illustrated Alphabets

We started this project reading The ABCs of ATX by Kelly Sharp. It is a rhyming book that uses the letters of the alphabet to talk about Austin landmarks. We took this idea and made our own alphabets.  Each student started with an outline of their first initial. They filled in the letter and background with things that represent themselves (and the letters of the alphabet).
